Kim Hyun Joong’s Lucky Guy concept was inspired by Ocean’s Eleven

SS501’s 4D leader, Kim Hyun Joong, recently revealed his 2nd mini-album, Lucky Guy, and this new mini-album revolves around what seems to be a casino, lucky theme.

Kim Hyun Joong took the time to sit down with reporters and explained the concept for “Lucky Guy” was. He explained, “‘Breakdown’ was a very powerful track, whereas ‘Lucky Guy’ is more of an upbeat song that I will be able to enjoy with fans… The concept this time around was inspired by the movie ‘Ocean’s Eleven’. This music video was shot with a gambler concept, but although the background and atmosphere makes it seem like it’s in a casino, in reality, I’ll be playing Blue Marble.” For those of you who don’t know, Blue Marble is the Korean version of Monopoly.

As he currently holds the title for most number of albums sold for soloists, he expressed his hopes that his second mini-album will be just as loved. And seeing how “Breakdown” sold 110,000 copies, he joked that he wants to sell 220,000 copies for his 2nd mini-album.

He will be making his return to the stage on next week’s M! Countdown and promote for about 3 weeks.

KARA’s full PV for Winter Magic revealed!

After their great success in Korea with “Step”, KARA has returned to Japan for their newest single titled “Winter Magic”. And after the recent teasers, they have finally released the full PV!

In the PV, the girls are seen in a beautiful, completely-white world (Leeteuk would be pretty happy), while sweetly thinking of their loved one (probably). And with their sweet but strong vocals, the PV is sure a beautiful one to watch, especially with the girls’ gorgeous figures.

Personally, this is so far my “song for winter 2011″, (the same way f(x)’s “Hot Summer” was for summer). The girls look super gorgeous in the video (Seungyeon with the scarf :P), and it’s just too magical to be true.
