SS501’s 4D leader, Kim Hyun Joong, recently revealed his 2nd mini-album, Lucky Guy, and this new mini-album revolves around what seems to be a casino, lucky theme.
Kim Hyun Joong took the time to sit down with reporters and explained the concept for “Lucky Guy” was. He explained, “‘Breakdown’ was a very powerful track, whereas ‘Lucky Guy’ is more of an upbeat song that I will be able to enjoy with fans… The concept this time around was inspired by the movie ‘Ocean’s Eleven’. This music video was shot with a gambler concept, but although the background and atmosphere makes it seem like it’s in a casino, in reality, I’ll be playing Blue Marble.” For those of you who don’t know, Blue Marble is the Korean version of Monopoly.
As he currently holds the title for most number of albums sold for soloists, he expressed his hopes that his second mini-album will be just as loved. And seeing how “Breakdown” sold 110,000 copies, he joked that he wants to sell 220,000 copies for his 2nd mini-album.
He will be making his return to the stage on next week’s M! Countdown and promote for about 3 weeks.
